Wow! ~ 3000 pictures on Saturday – Record!

We had approximately 3000 pictures taken by the camera on Saturday. This equates to 1000-1250 sled sightings! I have not checked all the pictures yet, so some may be of people stopping by, but none the less, it is the most the camera has taken in one day! Thanks!

Glad everyone got to ride. Sounds like a warm up coming next week. Yuck!

Update: Just checked through the pictures and most were of snowmobiles going by. Definitely a record day!

Wow, sleds like crazy yesterday and today

Hi,

Just a quick post to let you know that if you are having an issue getting the “images” page to pull up it’s because there are so many sleds going by! 1200+ pictures today, which usually means 400-600 sleds went by at least. Nice!

The snow is really holding up for so many sleds. The temps all day have been ~ 20. I am sure that is helping. We could use some more snow though!

Get riding!

February 24th Update

Looks like the snow is coming down hard and will continue for a while.  It is great to see a white trail again!  Good weekend to come up and ride.  We will know it is good once we see our friendly groomer!

Update 18 Feb New snow

We got more snow last night than what was predictded.  There is about 2-3 new inches on the trail and it should be a good day to ride.  Take advantage of it while you can.

Update 12 Feb trail ok

My wife and I went for a short ride to Wolverine and back.  Trail was in good shape, only a couple of brown spots.  Most of it was 1-2 inches of snow on top of ice and very smooth.  Only saw 6 other riders, thought there would be more out on a beautiful sunny day.

January 31 Update – Go Away Warm & Rain!

Well, if you did not get your riding in the past few days, you may have to wait.  It looks like it could get into the 40′s today in Gaylord.  The best we can hope for is no rain.  Tomorrow it starts to cool off again, if you can call low 30′s “cool”.

The trail is very nice right now, let’s just hope it holds up!

January 29th Weekend Review

Hi All,

Well, if you were here, or are here now, you know of the awesome snow we got in Gaylord Saturday and Sunday!  Probably a foot or more of nice new fluff!  On the depth gage, we are at about a foot and a half.  It is supposed to be 40 degrees and rainy on Tuesday.  We sure don’t need that!  If you want to ride, you might consider coming up for a ride on Monday.

Saturday January 28 sled count estimate: 350

The trail has held up through the warm spell. If temperatures stay in the 20′s this weekend the riding will be okay. Come get your riding in. You never know with this crazy winter if this will be the last riding weekend!
