Should get 1-2 inches today and 6-8 tonight. That will help the trails.

Is the snow depth on the stick below the words or above? When snow is at line below 1 foot, is it a foot or after that is covered to line above one foot?

Where it says 1 foot is one foot. The line above it is 1 1/2 foot. My kids painted it years ago.

The line above the 1 foot is 1 foot. Snow out in the fields is only 6-12 inches with some drifting. Should get some more tomorrow afternoon and night.

Wish I was up there now. I live in OH.
I was in Brighton ,Mi after watching the game and headed to her other place in Paradise two days later. There was so much snow up there we couldn’t get up the Lane.
We will be going up in February and hope there is a lot of snow. The trail looks well-groomed and a nice trail with the sunset making it even nicer.

Is there any place to park a small trailer by the web cam and ride? I see there is a little road side park on old 27. Thanks for the camera and info. Paul

Paul…parking at the roadside park I’m not sure you can access the trail without going on private property…camera is only a few miles from Downtown or M28…My suggestion is to start from Downtown Gaylord At Alpine soccer complex on Fairview road…I’m sure you can go for a quick ride without any issues and you can pick up the trail right by the water tank….switty correct me if I am wrong I don’t want to start any issues with trespassing, Thanks Robbie

            Robbie, Paul,

There is parking at Fairview and the trail. It is a trail head right by the water tower. Don’t ride in the open field though at the water tower as that is the soccer fields and you will get ticketed if caught.

I will take it. Sunny and warm in December? Usually it is so cold you can’t feel your face.. It is what it is. Complaining is not going to help, remember how cold and snowy it was in November with below average temperatures?

Glad I went up when I did b4 the warm up. Me and wife had a good pre Christmas trip. Too bad the reset button has been pushed again for the base on the trails. I thought last year was bad….hope we don’t go down the same path. Thanks switty for the info on the trails condition. Always helps me decide if I should make the 5 hr drive or not.
