Man I am chomping at the bit to get up there and ride Switty, thanks for the video feed.
I have rode most trails in lower Michigan but not in Gaylord, my area in Atlanta is not very good until end of January.

The web cam used to have night vision. Is that coming back this year?

If the cam was up it would show more snow on the quage this November then it did all last winter! I never saw it above 6 inches and we have 11 inches already in Alpena on November 19th. Unless Gaylord didn’t get hit.

I’m having trailcam withdrawals. I need to see white powdery snow with machines tuning on it.

started but for the last 2 maybe 3 years it has averaged 12″ plus I hope this year is just a temporary change and things will go back to normal.

Unfortunately, you cannot. Youtube keeps just a few hours of rolling footage and we don’t record any that Youtube does not keep.

Hey Switty or Mike – Thanks for the cam. I am also interested in what kind of camera this is and how I can connect one up at my cabin. Any pointers?

Ubiquiti UVC G3 with an older firmware version than current. You would need a consistent internet connection. We are close to a house so we run a network cable to the trail. This camera setup is nice in that we don’t need a computer, but it does require some special care. Anytime the internet or power glitches, we have to restart it as it will not restart itself onto youtube.
