I was just thinking the same thing, but I just cleaned it up for the winter.

I thought it was illegal to use 4 wheelers on groomed snowmobile trails. Maybe I’m wrong?

Apparently the ORVs can ride anywhere they want all year long. I thought the same as you but was corrected.

So to reply to some of your guys comments when I rode the other weekend down in Harrison trail I was following side by side tracks, seems to be the only thing out there are side by side. We do have do have our own trails but I can see an asshole on these trails soon enough with a dirt bike

It’s against the law for ORVs to ride Michigan snowmobile trails during snowmobile season!

No it isn’t, and that is the problem. Snowmobile trails on seasonal roads and orv routes are open to orvs year round. Only snowmobile trails that are non motorized other times of year like trail 7, the Pete Marquette trail etc and the trails that cross private property are not open to orvs.

Dam well that looks like a wrap on December riding, this is typically one of the better spots on the area trail system and it’s toast. Only inch or two new snow in 14 day forecast.

After almost 10 minutes, they turn around and go back, presumably with busted tail, light or something

I’m wondering if it was his wife/girlfriend in front? Anyway, moral of the story: NEVER tailgate, and if you want to wave, dont use your braking hand!!

You have to hit the trials when there is snow, temps up and down so much we can`t seem to keep snow on the ground.
