I know its brutal, but I used to love riding in these temps. Just let the motor run for at least 5 minutes to avoid the “cold seizure” problems, and dress accordingly. I had the Hein Gericke Polaris leather 2pc suit, and it was mighty warm. That and some great boots from Norman’s (remember them?), the Baffin brand. I seldom got cold…….

Must be new groomer operator that has not yet been informed that one of his/her duties is to brush off the thermometer and measuring stick.

It would appear gaylord got one of their groomers running, still one down.

The forecast indicates a bit of Lake Effect snow but more importantly … single digit temps. So, unless a bunch of zoomdweebies tears up the trail with “hole-shots” and other disrespectful behavior … the Trails should remain good .. even improving slightly YMMV

trails seem to be Slowly improving. In my area (about 40 miles NE of cam) the trails are hardpack/Ice even spots of bare ground with (as of right now) 1 inch of new, heavy snow on top. The trails are most likely pretty rough riding right now .. until we get enuf snow for the groomers to work on. YMMV

wayneo … Neighbor and 3 guests just went for a ride, came back and parked after just 2 hours. He said that everything is pretty rough – frozen slush made the ride extremely bumpy and the ruts in the slush made the sleds tough to control. YMMV
